City Hall, Lionday, March 17th 1919= 7 :30 P.Ij.
Council met in regular session- Commissioner H:A:- .Gowmanipresiding.
Present - H.B. Kirtland, H.A. Gowman, John Chapek.
Absent - L.F..S.insheimer, W.Ll. Stover.
The minutes of Larch 3d and 10th were read and approved as read.
The reports of the City Treasurer for the months of December 1918 and the month of
January 1919 were received and ordered filed on motion of H.B. Lirtland seconded by
John Chapek.
On motion of John Chapek seconded by H.B. Kirtlandthe application of Frank Logan
for permit to construct a residence on part of lot 11 block 6 Murray and Church Adds,,
X31 -was-granted.

On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek the application of J.A. Fitzpatrick
for license to conduct a cigar store , together with the applications for the regular
quarterly licenses , was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health & Safety.
The labor bills were allowed on motion of John Chapek seconded by H.B. Kirtland.
The "Election Proclamation , giving notice that a General L3unicipal Election shall
be held in the City of San Luis Obispo, on Monday, the 7th day of April 1919, for the
purpose of electing for said City the following officers, to wit, was read.
A Idayor for the full term of two years; A 6ity Clerk for the full term of two years;
Two Councilmen for the full term of four years and two School Directors for the full term
of four years. On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded bV John Chapek the above
"Election ProclFination� was adopted as read.
Reo. H: Andrewe and Marren C. Day addresti•ed the Council on behalf of the I`Iorth
End Improvement Club, relative to the abandonment by the City of thet portion of Park Street
lying between Palm and 1,11onterey Street. Hatter to be taken up at a later date.

sent to Commissioner Sinsheimer expressing the sympathy of the Council in his bereavement.
It was moved by H.B. Kirtland and seconded by Jchn Chapek to adjourn to Lionday,
LIarch 24th at 7:30 ?ELI., and that said adjournment be in respect to Commissioner Sinsheimer
on account of his bereavement.
