City Council met in special session fot the purpose of eonsideiing the
curtailment of the use of vaa:,er furnished by the City of San Luis Onisuo.

agreed upon by the Council at its meeting of August 2nd. relative to. the use of water
for irrigation purposes be amended as follows
Consumers North of center line of Mia.rsh Street Tuesday « Friday 7 to 9 P.11;1. only
Consumers South ox center lire of 1arsh Street Wednesday & Saturday 7 to 9 P.IJ. only.

Present : H.B. :Kirtland, H.A. Gowman, James Piper , John Chapek , L.F. Sinsheimer.
Absent : None.
The minutes of AUvust 2d. 9th. and 12th. were read and an -P roved as read
on motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper.
The anrlication of Nicholas George for license for Fortune Telling was
referred to Commissioner H.A. Gowman for investigation and report.

The petition of 1jearl Erving for transfer of lodging house license to
Mrs. Minnie Ernst was ;ranted or. motion of H.A. Govrman seconded by John Chapek.
On motion. of James Piper seconded by H.B. Kirtland the report of the City
Clerk for the month of July -.r;as received and ordered filed .

The minutes of the Board of Equalization were read and approved as read
on motion of James. Piper seconded by John Chapek.
Resolution No. 126 ( New Series ) Directing the City Engineer to prepare
and submit plans and specifications for paving certain parts of certain streets in the
City of San Luis Obisoo,was introduced, passed and adopted on motion. of H.A.Go-rrman seconded
by H.B. Kirtland by the following vote:
Ayes : H.B. Kirtland., H.A. Gowman, Jar.:es Piper , John Chapek, L.F. Sinsheimer.
