On motion of James Piper seconded by P.B. Martin the Merchandising Bond
of Peter J. Soto was ordered cancelled.
The application of Mrs. Harry Kenyon for permit to lay 30 ft of 5 ft park
sidewalk and curbing on the North side Monterey Street between Essex and Johnson Street
was granted on motion of James Piper seconded by N.B. Martin.
On motion of James Piper seconded by 7J.B. Martin the Commissioner of
Public Works was directed to make certain changes in a light at the Auto Park.
.On motion of W.B. Martin seconded by James Piper the meeting adjourned .

City Cotncil met in regular session - Mayor L.F. Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : W.B. Martin , H.A. Bowman , Geo. W. Kilbern, James Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer.
Absent : None.
The minutes of November 6th and 13th were read and approved as read on
motion of James Piper seconded by W.B. Martin.
The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of
Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by James Piper :

On motion of dames Piper seconded by H.A. Gasman the following applications
for permit to lay sidewalk , curbing and gutter were granted , with the understanding
that the same be placed on official grade:
J.C. Martines - 150 ft curbing on the east side Essex Street between Monterey and
Higuera Street.
Chas. J. Kelly - 50 ft park sidewalk, curbing and gutter on the north side of Pacific
Street between Essex and Johnson Street.
It was moved by James Piper seconded by H.A. Gowman and carried that the
Santa MIJaria Gas Company be permitted to open trenches at the following named locations
Montalban Street bet .7een Santa Rosa and.Toro Street.
Monterey Street between Grand Avenue and Henderson Atreet,
Sycamore Street between Osos and Santa Rosa Street; also to install Light
Standard for Dr. G.A. Snyder in front of Marsh Street entrance to hie building.

The anplication of the Associated Oil Co for permit to connect sewer from
Comfort Station in Block 31 to private Sewer of Geo, w. Mc Cabe was granted on motion of
James Piper seconded by W.B. i`_artin.
The reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for the month of October
were received and ordered filed on motion of Y.B. Martin seconded by James Pier.
On motion of James Piper sedonded by W.B. Martin the application of
A.S. Mc Intyre for license for C.igararSideline at 1002 Railroad Avenue and that of
w.'C. Simmons for license for Restaurant at 1519 Osos Street ( Axtells Grill ) were referred
to the Commissioner of Public Health arid Safety for report.
The petitions of Mr.& Mrs. Goodman for transfer of lodging house license.,
corner Morro and Higuera Street, to Mrs. M. Rodgers, and that of Mrs. M.Ee Tercis for
transfer of lodging house license , 1007 Chorro Street to Mrs. J.W. Lundy , were referred
to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report.
The application of J.D. Gilliland for permit to place an " Official Hotel
Sign " at Hotel Annex was granted with the provision that the same be done under the .
supervision of the Department of Public Health and Safety.
A communication from Golden State Chapter No 13 Disabled Veterans of the
World war was read , expressing appreciation of the action of the Council in granting to
the said organization the use of the Council Chamber as a meeting place, was ordered filed.
Resolution No. 145 ( New Series ) , A Resolution accepting a Deed from
A.F. Fitzgerald , et ux, to the City of San Luis Obispo, conveying property situate in
said City was introduced and adopted on motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern
by the following vote:: -

On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by JamesPiper the application of
Joe Milani for license for Restaurant at 1235 Monterey Street was granted.
On motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern License No 904 issued
to E.C. Loomis & Son ( Brokerage ) C 2.00 -gas ordered cancelled and payment returned.
On motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern the following licenses

The matter of a Guy wire of the Midland Counties Public Service Corpn
in front of residence of J.C. Peyton on Pismo. Street between Santa Rosa and Toro Street
was referred to the Commissioner of Public works.
On motion of Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by W.B. Martin the meeting adjourned
to Monday,November 27th 1922 at 7:30 P,M.
