On motion of H. A. Gowman, seconded by W. B. Martin, the Applications of P. C.
Bonetti, for License.:for Cigars Sideline, Soft Drinks and Hotel, at 995 Higuera St.,
were rejected.
Application 7#58 of the Mid Cc Publ Sery Corpn for permit to do certain work on
Chorro.St., between Sycamore and Fig dts., was ordered granted, on motion of Geo W. Kilbe

Bids for additional Fire Apparatus, which were submitted 'on Dec:. 26th, 1922, we
before the Council for consideration; it was moved by H. A. Gowman, seconded by W. B. Mart
and carried, that the bid of the Game-sell Fire Alarm Telegraph Co., for Five)or more,
Peerless Positive loon- Interfering dector Fire Alarm Boxes at „126.00 each, b e.accepted.
-On motion of H. A. Gowman, seconded by James Piper, bids on Fire Hydrants were
lead aver to the next meeting.
With the consent of the other bidders on Fire Apparatus.asid with the!unaminous
acquiescence: of the Council, the Valley Electric Co., by the Holtzer -C%bot Eleotrio Co.,
was permitted to submit a proposal of $215.55 on 50 aode:wheel transmitter, non - interfering
type (including wheels), F. 0. B. Sa<n Luis Obispo.
It was moves by H. A. Cowman, seconded by James Piper, and carried, that action.
on B U for Fire Alarm Transmitter be deferred; that the representatives of the respective.
firms, bidding on same, explain the workings of the respective Transmitters to it Payton..
Engineer of the Fire Department, who will then advise the Council -as to the merits of the
respective types.
