City Hall, Monday, September 28th 1925 - 7:30 P.IVI.
City Council met in adjourned session - Commissioner Chas Forbes presiding.
Present : C.I.I.Carpenter, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, Chas Forbes.
Absent . 1.F.(Sinsheimer.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek the following applications for _
permit to build were granted.:

seconded by H.E.Cox the application was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and
Safety for investigation and report.
The petition of Joe Kenner for permit to stand and maintain an automobile on
the east side of IvIorro Street between Higuera and Lionterey Streets from 7 :40 o'clock P.I.I. t
10:00 o'clock P.I:'. for the purpose of selling Peanuts, popcorn etc., was received and referred,
on motion of H.E.Com seconded by John Uhapek., to the Commissioner of Public Health and
Safety for report.
Communication from Fred W. Smith, General Chairman of Armistice Day Celebrat-
ion Committee of Faso Robles, extending an invitation to the Council to participate in the
Armistice Day celebration was read. On motion of John Chapek seconded by H.E.Cox the
invitation was accepted with thanks.
The claim of ;u.J.Tobin in the amount of �, 49003.11 , being amount due under
contract, in accordance with City Engineers estimate No 3, for the construction of Sewers
Division 11 Li " was ordered paid on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by C.I:i.Carpenter,

Resolution No. 188 ( New Series ), A resolution accepting a deed from
C.h1.Carpenter, et al , transfering and conveying to the City of Ste. Luis Obispo, a strip
of land ( 2 ft by 90 ft off the westerly side of lot 9 Block 104 Iulission Vineyard Tract),
for the purpose of widening the sidewalk on Morro Street at-the said point, was introduced
and adopted as presented, on motioli of H�y.Cox seconded by John Chapek by the following vote:
Ayes : C.I, ?.Carpenter, John Chapek , H.E.Cox , Chas Formes.
Noes : None,

A petition was received from Ralph Law , praying for permit tm connect a
subdivision of property knows as 11 Iconterey Heights " ,which subdivision lies without the

City's boundaries to the proposed main sev;er'lin.esto be extended from a point on Pismo
Street easterly. The petition was accompanied by a check in the amount of $ 21000.O

this said amount being tendered in full payment of the estimated share of I,,Ir Law for the
contemplated improvement. The City Attorney advised that favorable action on the
part of the City would be legal. it was then moved by C.I:I.Carpenter and seconded
by H.E.Cox that the application be acted upon favorably and that the permit be granted.
The roll was called, resulting as follows:

City 2�ngineer L.W.Eoore presented plans and specifications for the proposed
sewer line to be extended from Pismo Street. On motion of C.I. Carpenter seconded
by John Chapek consideration of the matter was left over for one week.
It was moved by C.I1i.Carpenter and seconded by. John- Chapek that the City Attorn

be requested to obtain rights of way for the proposed sever extension from Pismo Street,

arA also get deposits from all interested property owners, The motion carried.

wall in the creek at the rear of his property on lower Higiera Street. Discussion.
Matter feferred to the City Engineer for report at the next meeting.
The applications for the regular quarterly licenses v;ere ordered granted on
motion of C,!,-,'.Carpenter seconded by John Chapek.

was granted upon favorable report and motion of C.IrI.Carpenter seconded by John Chapek.
The applications of Caesar Anziana for permit for addition to residence on
Lot 1 Block 172 Dallidet Addition , and of '::!m F.Gore for permit to build a three stall garag
on lot 6 Block 10 'iveills Addition , were granted upon motion of. C.I.I.Carpenter seconded by
Application of D.Hc Leod for permit to stand and maintain an automobile stand
on the west side of Osos Street between I:,Iarsh and Pacific Streets for the purpose of selling
sandwiches, coffee etc., was reported on favorably by the Commissioner of Public Health
and Safet1T, and on his motion seconded by John Chapek the permit v;a,s granted.
