The.applications of Alex Liiller for license for Soft Drinks and Cigars Side
at 856 I:Ionterey,Street were granted d)n motion of H.E.Cox seconded by Chas Forbes.
Application of the A.ti'.kline Shows for license for Carnival , Yay 23d to 28th,
denied on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Coze
Application of Mrs. Llae Umbertis for permit to hang an•Electric Sign at 995
Higuera Street and of C.L.Evens for permit to hang a board sign at 1128 Chorro'Stheet,
were granted, on motion of H..COF. seconded by Chas Forbes , -with the usual provision.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by Chas Forbes the matter of a Traffic Ordinance

On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset the application of Chris Archule
for license for Soft Drinks at 809 ilonterey Street, was referred to the Commissioner of
Public Health and Safety for report to the Council.
The IIerchandising Bond of I.II.Silverman, secured by Cashiers Check in the
amount of $ 200.00 , was approved on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset.
The reports of the City Clerk, City Treasurer and round Laster for the month of
April were received and ordered filed on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
Communication from PJm.Vq Iylendenhall relative to co- operative payment for Fire
Guard read , and ordered planed on file,
Application of J.C.James for re appointment as City - Treasurer received and
ordered filed on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
The application of F.A,Mc Arthur for permit to hang a glass and wooden sign
