Carroll for permit to add a room to portable Lunch Counter at corner of I:Iarsh and Osos Streets. In re matter of application of Joe _ ?obasciotti for permit to build a store room on part of lots 4.& 5 Block 109 ;:fission Vineyard Tract: It was moved by John Chapek and seconded by H.E.Cox that the application be granted -- work to be done under the supervision of the City Engineer. Discussion lotion withdrawn•. It was then moved by John Chapel and seconded by C�ias Forbes that the said application be referred to the Commissioner of Public Works for investigation and report to the Council. Petition was received from Albert Nelson praying the Council to widen South Street between Broad Street and Riguera Street to a uniform width of Eighty feet. on .potion of E..Cox seconded by Chas Farber the petition was referred to the City Engineer for report relative to Cost of work and property owners affected. J License #1311 issued to IN.L.Nicholsfor Cigars Sideline at 311 Higuera Street was referred to the Co_nmissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council, The reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for the month of February, and those of the City Collector and Police Judge for the month of Larch were received and ordered filed on ;notion of L.J.Defosset seconded by Chas Forbes. conrnunication from Joseph Leary relative to the improvement of a certain vacant lot on 3road Z)treet was received and ordered filed. Y petition was presented by Irving L. Ryder requesting per -ait to pave Osos Street between Palm Street and L1ill Street by private Contract with property owners fronting on the said Street, i::?atter discussed, and on motion of H. .Cox seconded by Chas Fcr bes the City E�igineer was directed to prepare plans and specifications for the said proposed work and present to the Council at the next meeting. Claims against the City for the month of :arch were ordered paid, subject to the approval of the heads of the respective departments, on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by John Chapek. This being the time and place fixed for the Hearing of protests in re the improvem of Santa Rosa Street, resolution of Intention No. 311 ( New Series ) the matter was now taken by the Council, i;o written or verbal protests were filed. Resolution No. 313 ( Vew Series ) A resolution Ordering certain work on certain portions of Santa Rosa,Fig and Stenner Streets, as described in Resolution of Intention I;o.311 (New Series ) of the City Council of the City:)of San Luis Obispo, and setting the date for receiving Bids on such proposed work, as April 21st. 1930, at 7 :30 O'clock P.I:i., was introduces and adopted, on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.R.Cox by the following vote: Ayes : Chas i0orbes, L.J.Defosset, H.E.COx, John Chapek, L.F.Sinsheimer.
