City Hall, Thursday, April 9th, 1931 - 7 :30 P.LI.
City Council met in adjourned session - Iayor L. F. Sinsheimer presiding.
Present: L. J. Defosset, I. E. Cog, John Chapek, L. F. Sinsheimer.
Absent : Chas. Forbes.
The purpose of the meeting was to canvass returns of the General I3unicipal & Consolida
Bond Election held in the City of San Luis Obispo on the 6th day of April 19319, which returns
the City Clerk now presented: Tabulation following shows result of vote cast at such election
The number of votes cast at such election being 1617 within the City of San Luis Obispo and
165 in the three outside Precincts voting on School Director only.

It was moved by L. J. Defosset seconded by H. E. Cox and carried that L. F, Sinsheimer
having received the highest number of votes cast for I:Iayor at the General IIunicipal and Con-
solidated Bond :election held on the 6th day of April, 1931, be declared elected Mayor for the
full term of two years, as prescribed by law;. that, L. J. Defosset and Joseph B. Berkemeyer
being the two persons receiving the highest vote for Councilmen at the General I,;unicipal and
Consolidated Bond Election held on the 6th day of April, 1931, were, and each of them was
declared elected Councilmen for the full term of four years, as prescribed by law; that
...allie I1. John having received the highest number of votes cast for City Clerk at the General
,iunicipal and Consolidated Bond election held on the 6th day of April, 1931, be declared elect
City Clerk for the full term of four years; that, S. Jackson Lowe and Alice S. Witcosky having
received the highest number of votes cast for School Director at the General Liunicipal and Con-
solidated Bond Election held on the 6th day of April, 1931, were, and each of them was declared
elected School Director for the full term of four years`as prescribed by law.
