City Hall, 1.1onday, March 7th 1932 - 7 :30 P.LI,
City Council met in regular session - '..1ayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : J.B.Berkemeyer, John Chapek, u.E.Cox, L.J.Defosset, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Absent : None.
The minutes.of February 15th. 23rd.and 29th. were read and approved as read on
motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeye.r.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded byJ.B.Berkemeyer the following applications for permit
to build were granted :
Episcopal Church - Addition of doom lot 2 Bloci: 5 Cost 0 500.00
L.Thurlow - addition of torch Lot 11 Block 115 I:iurray & Church Addn Cost 50.00
The application:_of M. Fiscalini for permit to remodel building, partially destroyed
by fire, on lot 4 Block 33 , at a cost of 0 1,500.00 was granted on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer
seconded by L.J.Defosset -.ith the provision that the requirements of the Building Code and the
wilding Inspector be met.
On notion of H.E.Coa seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the application of A. Krugman for
license for Auctioneer at 867 ':tor_terey Street was referred to the Co:i:.iissioner of Public Health
and Safety for report to the Council.
The petition of S. Yamagishi for perMit to break pavement on bower Hoguera Street,
near South Street, for purpose of making Sewer connection was referred, on motion of
L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer, to the CoLxiissioner of Public Yorks for report to
the Council.
On motion of L.J..Defosset seconded by h.E.Cox the reports of the City Collector and
the Police Judge for the month of February 1932, were received and ordered filed.
Resolution No. 371 ( New Series ) A Resolution authorizing the execution on behalf
of the City of San Luis Obispo of a certain agreement with the Southern Pacific Company relat
to the maintenance of a ':later Pipe on Islay load across the right of way of said Company was
introduced and adopted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer by the following vote:
Ayes : J.B.Berkemeyer, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, L.J.Defos2et, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Noes : None.
Absent : None.
A communication from Geo. J.-O'Hara, Secretary of San Luis Obispo Chapter, Railroad
l.lployes' National Pension Association, together with draft of resolution was read. Fatter
liscussed and referred to the unfinished business file to be taken up at the next meeting of
the Council.
Claims against the City for the :ionth of February 1832, were ordered paid, subject to
he apptoval of the heads of the respective depart;nents. on Notion of John Chapek seconded by
.F,.COF..
On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the following applications for

Application of Clines Electric Shopfor permit to hang a Neon Sign at P & 0 Cafe,
412 Higuera Street, was granted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by H.E.Cox, with the
provision that said sign be hung in accordance with Ordinance and under the supervision of
the City Engineer.
