Present : J.B.Berkeraeyer, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer. Absent : L. J. Defosset. The minutes of February 1st and 8th were read and approved as read on motion of .P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer. Application of Bank of America for permit to re- lay 65 ft of full width semen sidewalk on the south side of Higuera Street between Garden Street and Chorro Street grante with the provision that work be done under the supervision of the- City Engineer. Application of F.S. Coelho for permit to hang a Neon Sign , 21 x 31, at the Wine Shop, 1019 Chorro Street, referred to the Commissioner of public Health and Safety nor report to the Council. The report of the City Clerk for the month ending January 31, 1937, received and ordered placed on file. A communication from California i ission Trails Association, by C._.= .C.'aymond, Secretary, re: appropriation by Council, read and referred to the Commissioner of Finance for his study and advice to the Council. On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Hoivell the-..applications of the tialle Electric Company for permit to replace a standard Shell Neon Sign for Shell Service Station corner ?- :onterey and Santa Rosa Street, also, for permit to hang a double face l;eon Sign for Rio Grande Oil Station, corner Osos and Iiarsh Street, oere granted with the provision that said signs be hung according to the provisions of Ordin.-ince and that work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer. Unfinished matters continued. On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by .P-Howell the following licenses were ordered cancelled : J July f Oct.
