Eddy, Clerk of San Luis Obisl County Water Works District #5 of Templeton; Calif. relative to the Salinas ?Nater, was're' ferred to the Mayor and City Attorney, on motion of R. P. The application of H. D. Sanders for permit for sewer connection on Sandercock Street between Beebee and 8ypress Streets was granted, on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by W. H. Brasil; work to be done under the supervision of the City Engineer. The adoption.of the 1940 Building Code was discussed by the City Attorney, but no action was taken at this time. Commissioner R.•P. Howell called the Council's attention to awning survey being made by the Police Department regarding time allowed to change the heights and other re- strictions, and was instructed by the Mayor to confer with the building inspector. On motion of W. H. Brazil, seconded by Joseph Leary,.it was ordered that the Fire Chief, W. L. Payton, attend the conference to beheld at Reno, Nevada, Sept. 8,9, and 10th, 1941, and that the City�of San Luis Obispo pay his expenses. r fl 1 J 1 1 Rosa V.
