Transfer of License from Max Lagao and M. Peralta to A.Alverez at 866 Palm Street.
Mr. Don McMillan representing the farm bureau, appeared before the Council
in their behalf, and offered to the city of San Luis Obispo, 10 ornamental trees suitable
for the new park and on motion of Mayor F. C. Kimball, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy, the
city accepted the trees, with thanks.
Commissioner Ralph C. Kennedy reported to the Council that the neighbors in
the 400 block on Pacific St. are complaining about the truck noises in the early morning
hours and loading of trucks and tooting of. horns; same was referred to the Police Depart-
ment for investigation.
On motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy, the City Attorney
was instructed to draw up an agreement between the city of San Luis Obispo and the
Pacific Gas and Electric Co. as to the supply of water to the sub - station on the Orcutt
Road.
On motion of R.P. Howell, seconded by W. H. Brazil the meeting adjourned.

sidewalk on Santa Rosa and Higuera St. Uiorwulk Service Station) ti^;s granted on motion of
R. 1. Howell, seconded by W. II. Erazi l; work to be done under the supervision of the City

Class "D" contractor together with Columbia Casualty Co. bond In the amount of $1000.00

On motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Howell it ,,as ordered that
the penalty be waived upon payment of the regular fee on license #2487 ( The Texaco Co.)
appearing delinquent on the license list for the January 1942 quarter and it waa also
ordered that all penalties on Cigars Sideline licenses unpaid on the list, be waived if
paid on or before the 31st day of March, 1942.
Resolution No. 656 (New Series).- r Resolution accepting the offer of
F. C. Stolte Co. to make certain change and addition in connection with enlargements and
improvements to the Sewage Disposal Plant of the City of San L71is Obispo was passed and
as amended,

- Commissioner Howell discussed the cost of running a culvert on Hathway Ave.
a distance of about 152 ft. Assistant Enggneer, Leonard Lerner, estimated the cost for pipe
at X230.00, labor at 9220.00 or a total of $450.00, to be paid out of the Street Improveme It
Fund and was instructed to P roceed with the work and if additional cost is necessary, same
is to be taken up with the Council.
On motion of R. 1. Howell, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy the meeting adjourned
to D'arch 23, 1942.
