On motion of Joseph Leary, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy, Manuel de Souza was ppointed Poundmaster at a base pay of $150 per month. The Bond of P,,ianuel de Souza as Poundmaster, issued by the U. S. Fidelity and . in the amount of $500 was approved on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by Joseph ary. Motion carried. On motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by Joseph Leary, Fred Rakeman was employed part time janitor to work not less than 24 hours per week at a base pay of $68.18 r month. M. R. McLaughlin was appointed ,Special Folice Officer as outlined in Ordinance 5, c. 5 on motion of Joseph Leary, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy, The City Attorney was instructed to present Resolution outlining salary raise for ity employees. On motion of Joseph Leary, seconded by Clyde T. O'Nan it was ordered Miss Charlotte iller base pay be $140.00 per month as of July 1, 1944. On motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by Joseph Leary, Norma Sim's base pay be 125.00 per month.
