C. Kimball, Joseph Leary, Clyde T. O'Nan Absent: None The minutes of October 16th, October 26th and November 2nd, 1944 were read and approved as read. Howell, the petitions filed by Clines Electric to hang Neon sign for the Gold Room Liquor Store at 893 Monterey St, and for Leidig's Market at 447 Higuera St. was granted; work to be done under the .supervision of the City Engineering; Department and. e xisting ordinance. The petition of James E. Huffman to run rjater line across Brook Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public .Yorks, with power to act, on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Howell. The petition of the Smee Plumbing Co. to break pavement and repair server line at 1641 Osos St. was granted; work to be done under the supervision of the City Engineering Department on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy. The petition of the Better Plumbing Co. to excavate for sewer line on Carmel Street between Pacific and Pismo Street was granted with the provision that work be done under the supervision of the engineering department. The following applications for contractor's licenses were received and on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by Clyde T. O'Nan the Bonds were approved, sureties accepted and registration granted:. R. :1. Agnew - Class "F" Contractor - U.S. & Fidelity & Guaranty Co. bond - Fee 10.00 Dana L. Reed - Class IIF" Contractor - U.S. Fidelity & Guaranty Co. bond " 10.00 The Merchandising bond of Eleanor D. Aldrich in the amount of X200 with the U.S. fidelity and Guaranty Co. as surety was received and on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by Clyde T. C'Nan, the surety was accepted, bond approved and license ordered issued. Communication received from the California Polytechnic School Re: City fire fighting equipment in case of an emergency to -serve outside of the city limits was referred to the Commissioner of Finance, Ralph C. Kennedy and the City Attorney for inves- tigation and report, on motion of Clyde T. O'Nan, seconded by R. P. Howell. Communication from B. S. Bauman, Asst. RESOLUTION NO. 729 (NM`J DERIES)- A Resolution providing for the execution) of an. Agreement between the City of San Luis Obispo and the Southern yacific Co. relating to a connection to the City `'later line to protect the Stenner Creek Viaduct against fire was passed and adopted on motion of R. Howell it was ordered they be permitted to remove the wall mentioned in letter on condition they furnish necessary plans and specifications and replace wall with support- ing beam; meeting all requirements of the building code and all work to be done at the expense of.•Les_.ee and under the supervision of the Building Inspector. On motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Howell, the Commissioner of Public -dorks was authorized to put in necessary sewer line over the acquired right -of on Plummers property to service the Jacobson property at 821 Murray Ave. On motion of R.
