Cost 300.00 The application for Building Permit of the San Luis Obispo County - Housing Authority to remodel dormitory for apartments on Lots 10 & 11, Block 175, Loomis Addition was not approved but ordered filed on motion of F. L. Gist, seconded by G. W. Baker ( the above being a Federal Government Bldg.) - cost being $400, in motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by Clyde T. O'Nan, the following appli- cations for.sidewalk and curbing -:vere granted: S. P. Milling Co. - 40 ft. of sidewalk on the East side of Santa Barbara Ave. between High and Haskins Streets. Edwin P. Dughi - to cut 2 ft. of present curb in order to widen driveway on the north side of Murray St. between Santa Rosa and Mt. Pleasanton Square. Floyd Cook-- 120 ft. of full width sidewalk , curb and gutter on the southwest side of N. Broad St. at 251 No. Broad St. 4 3 2 The petition filed by Melvin Walker to hang wooden sign at 1115 Broad St. s referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and report on motion of R. Howell, that the Brief sub- itted by the United Association of Journeymen Plumbers and Steamfitters, as presented by MrJ. H. B. Schram , be accepted and filed. Communication from the County Tax Collector regarding the sale of tax deeded property to be sold March 1st, 1946 and requesting the city's approval of the sale was again presented to the Council, and on motion of G. W. Baker, seconded by F. L. Gist, the City Clerk was instructed to write the Tax Collector stating they had no ob- jection to the sale, providing they receive 8 /9ths of the proceeds of the sale and also, to send copies of the letter to the District Attorney, County Auditor and Board of Supervisors. proved this On motion of R.
