Kennedy presiding. Present: G.W.Baker, F.L.Gist, R.P.Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, Kline Williams Absent: None Communication from Larry Laurent requesting permission to hang a banner was denied, without prejudice, and the City Clerk was instructed to inform him of the Council's action. Communication from California Mission Trails Assn. requesting a donation from the.City of San Luis Obispo for advertising on Highway #101; this letter was referred to t Commissioner of Finance for investigation and report on motion of G.W.Balm r, seconded by Kline Williams. The report of the City Clerk for the month of April was ordered filed. Petition received from L:' H. Wright et al requesting the City to oil Brizzolari Street was referred tb the Commissioner of Public Works, with power to act, on motion of G.W.Baker, seconded by F.L. Gist. Re: Communication from Maino and Madonna Re: the acceptance of Tract No. 43 was ordered received and filed for future reference on motion of.R. P. Howell, seconded by G. W. Baker. Communication from George Stephans Re: Santa Rosa Park Homes Walks etc, was again held over, as was also the Communication from the Federal Works Agency Re: Insurance on the Recreation Building. Resolution No. 810 (New Series) - Resolution Authorizing the City ofSan Luis Obispo to execute an Agreement for the purchase by the County of San Luis Obispo of the State's title to certain lands within said.City of San Luis Obispo andCounty of San Luis Obispo as provided by Chapter Eight, articles one and two, sections 3771 to 3810 inclusive of the Revenue and taxation code of the State of California was passed and adop on motion of F.L. Gist, seconded by G.W.Baker upon the following roll call vote: 1 7' AYES; G.W.Baker, F.L.Gist, R.P..Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, Kline Williams Noes: None Absent: None Ordinance _No. 284 (New Series) - An Ordinance providing for the sale and exchange of certain real property owned by the City of San Luis Obispo for certain real property owned by Vera E. Liossi, Arthur E. iiiossi and Emelia lvliossi was passed to print on motion of F.L.Gist, seconded by R.P. Howell upon the following roll call vote: Ayes: G. W. Baker, F.L.Gist, R.P.Ho;4ell, Ralph C. Kennedy, Kline Williams Noes: ?'done Absent: None Ordinance No. 285 (New Series) - An Ordinance amending Sections 33, 35, 49 and 58of Ordinance No. 13 (New Series) entitled "Providing a system for the assessment, levy and collection of all city taxes in the City of ,San Luis Obispo ", finally passed and adopted by the City Council on October 23, 1911, and adding sections 412 to said ordinance was introduced and passed to print on motion of F.L.Gist, seconded by R.
