The Council met in regular session; Mayor Timothy I. O'Reilly presiding.

The minutes of the meeting of February 20, 1950 were approved.
This being the time set as per advertised notice for receiving bids on 4500
lineal feet of 6 inch cast iron pipe, the following bids were publicly opened and read:

After reviewing the bids they were referred to the Commissioner of Supplies, with power
to act, on motion of Wm. 0. Hall, seconded by Kline [ Williams.
This being the time and place fixed by the Council, as per advertised Notice.
for Public Auction of one wood frame building and attached shed located at 100 Santa
Rosa Street,- all bids submitted were rejected by the Council.
Communication from Helen E.Richards applying for.position was referred to the
Citv Engineer, on motion of Kline Williams, seconded by Wm. 0. Hall.

taxes on Lovell A. Gragg property; portion of Block 7 of Hathway Addn. acquired for
highway purposes was ordered cancelled on motion of Kline Williams, seconded by Wm.
0. Hall.

Park Homes was held over pending study of city's contract with the Housing Authority,

The application of Earl R. Powelson at 815 High St. for a city license for
second hand and new furniture dba "Earl's House of Bargains" was referred to the Planning
Commission on notion of Kline Williams, seconded.by D. M. Carpenter.

Ordinance No. 325 (New Series) - An Ordinance Reclassifying as C -1 ( Local )
Business District that certain area-of land located on the northerly side of Palm Street
between Chorro and Broad. Streets, and reclassifying as R -3 ( Multiple Family) etc. was
finally passed on motion of Kline Williams, seconded by Frank V. Woods.upon the following
roll call vote:

Ordinance No. 326 (New Series) - An Ordinance amending Section 7 of Ordinance

etc. was finally passed on motion of Kline Williams, seconded by Frank V. Woods upon
the follrnoin, roll call vote:
