1. The members of the City Council and Chamber Members discussed in general terms
programs - -that. -are. - needed _by _the _City. _of. _San .Luis -Obispo _and _that. , could .be handled,
through contract with the Chamber of Commerce. They also discussed future financial
participation -by, the. City do L the cChamber's . Economic :Development Program.
2. The City Council-.discussed-various methods of encouraging,industrial development
along,the_:Edna -Road and:wes.tc.of the :Southern Pacific-Railroad right of way in view.
of the present plans by the City Council of extending sewer and water easterly along
Edna Road.
The matter of access•to serve the - industrial property east -of Edna Road was dis-
cuesed.and:,.the proper •method,of_ connecting from 'Edna _Road tot he. property being
