ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA
May 22, 1972 - 12:15 P.M.
Conference Room - City Hall
Present: Emmons Blake, John C. Brown, Myron Graham,
T. Keith Gurnee, Kenneth E. Schwartz
Present: J. H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; R. D. Miller,
Administrative Officer; A. J. Shaw, Jr.,
City Attorney.
Also Present Edwin Dubeil, Attorney General's Office;
Tim Gannon, State Health Department;
James Gates, County Health Office;
Mrs. Amy Arsenio, Pure Water Association;
Harold Wilson, Vice President -,Cal. Poly.
1. E. Dubeil, Attorney General's Office, presented the status to
date of the temporary restraining order prohibiting fishing and trespassing
at Whale Rock Reservoir before the Superior Court in San Luis Obispo.
Mr. Dubeil concl -tided that Judge Harris of the Superior Court continued the
hearing on the temporary restraining order to June 19, 1972, at which time
he will again consider the continuance of the temporary restraining order
and also at that time wished to have a plan for fishing at Whale Rock
Reservoir, including health provisions, financing; etc.
The Council asked that Councilman Emmons Blake attend the Friday, May 26,
1972 Whale Rock Commission meeting as a representative of the City Council.
2. The City Council began their review of the 1972/73 City Budget
as prepared by the Administrative Officer, beginning with page one (l) to
page twenty (20) inclusive.
3. The Council adjourned to executive session.
4. On motion of Councilman Blake, seconded by Councilman Brown,
the meeting was adjourned to 12:10 P. M. on Wednesday, May 24', 1972.
Motion carried.
