WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3, 1976 - 12:15 P.M.

Public Services; Rob Strong, Director of Community
Development; John Quirk, Utilities Superintendent;
Carl Young, Chief Utility Plant Operator
PRESENT: Clint Milne, Assistant County Engineer; Joe Arsenio,
Chairman of the County Advisory Water Board
1. On motion of Councilman Gurnee, seconded by Councilman Graham, the
following resolution was ..introduced: Resolution No. 3012; a resolution
opposing Senate Bill No. 1500 in the California Legislature related to the
consolidation of Municipal and Superior Courts.
Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote:
' AYES: Councilmen Gurnee, Graham, Norris, Petterson
and Mayor Schwartz
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
2. On motion of .Councilman Gurnee, seconded by-Councilman Graham,
the following resolution was introduced: Resolution No. 3013, a resolution
opposing Assembly Bill No. 300 in the California Legislature related to
State Control of disciplinary action over city peace officers.
Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote: .
AYES: Councilmen Gurnee, Graham, Petterson, Norris
and Mayor Schwartz
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
3. The City Council continued their discussion of possible supplemental
water supply for the City of San Luis Obispo from sources such as: 1)
Nacimiento Project; 2) State Water Project; -and 3) Other.
1 Along with the discussion of supplemental water supply, was the discussion
of enlargement or additional water filtration facilities to handle any
supplemental water that would come to the City of San Luis Obispo.
4. On motion of Councilman Petterson, seconded by Councilman Graham,
the meeting adjourned to 7:30 p.m., March 8, 1976. Motion carried.
