ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
TUESDAY, JULY 13, 1976 --4:10 P.M.

PRESENT: Myron Graham, T. Keith Gurnee, Jesse .Norris,
Steven Petterson, and Mayor Schwartz
ABSENT: None
PRESENT: R.D. Miller.,.Administrative Officer; J.H.
Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; D.F. Romero, Director
of Public Services
1. City Council reviewed the list of major items continued from
prior Council meetings for Council study, and established the following
listing for future Council study.
1) Charter revision
2) Conflict of interest ordinance
3) Ordinance No. 614 revisions
1 4) No Smoking Ordinance
5) Police Department policy manual
6) Closure of Broad and Monterey Street
7) Extension.of garbage contract
8) Property improvement program
9) Public safety services
A) Paramedics
10) Personnel policy and procedures
11) Water supply
12) Water treatment
13) Permit /information center
14) Creek setbacks
15) Zone 9 flood control
16) Laguna Lake studies
The City Council discussed the scheduling for Council discussion of the
study items.
The Council set 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday,.July 20, 1976 for study of the
Charter revision with the Citizen's Committee and then .following dinner
to review the revisions to Ordinance No. 614, the election campaign regu-
lations.
The Council then directed the Administrative Officer to have complete
reports prepared on the following items for future Council study:
#2) Conflict of interest (City Attorney)
#5) Police.Department policy manual

A) Paramedics
2. On motion.of Councilman Norris, seconded by Councilman
Petterson, the.meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m. Motion carried.
