1. GENERAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE BUDGETS (File *233)
Council reviewed the General and Administrative Budgets for FY 1985 -86
found on pages D -51 through D -84 (please see budget master copy in the
City Clerk's Office for specific revisions).
Jim Stockton, Lane Wilson and Geoff Grote, reviewed budgets assigned to
them.
5:20 p.m. Mayor Billie declared a recess. 5:35 p.m. City Council
reconvened, Vice -Mayor Settle absent.
Tom Erno, B.I.A. Chairman, reviewed the B.I.A.'s budget.
Elena -Marie Koster, B.I.A. Administrator, also made some additional
comments.
Councilman Griffin suggested that a program statement be added that would
summarize and recommend a main street -type proposal for consideration by
the B.I.A. members, the B.I.A. Board and the City Council (Council
concurred 4 -0 -1).
Geoff Grote, Assistant Administrative Officer, reviewed pages D -61 through
D -62 (Human Relations Commission). Several amendments made.
Pam Voges, City Clerk, reviewed the City Council budget. Minor amendments
made.
Geoff Grote reviewed the General Administration budget.
Roger Picquet, City Attorney, reviewed the City Attorney budget. Council
added an additional objective.
7:45 p.m. Mayor Billie declared a recess. 8:00 p.m. City Council
reconvened, Vice -Mayor Settle absent.
Pam Voges reviewed the City Clerk budget and the Elections budget.
Bobbie Goddard, Finance Director, reviewed the Finance Administraion
budget.
Ann Crosse v, Personnel Director, reviewed the Personnel Administration
budget.
Dave Elliott, Administrative Assistant, reviewed budget pages D -73 through
D -74.
Lane Wilson, Parks /Building Manager, reviewed budget pages D -75 through
D -76.
Toby Ross, Community Development Director, reviewed the Community
Development Department budget (D -77 through D -83).
Dave Romero, Public Works Director, reviewed budget pages D -80 and D -81.
Upon general consensus, Council gave conceptual approval to those budget
pages with minor amendments as listed in the draft master copy (4 -0 -1).
There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor
Billig adjourned the eeting a 1Q:15 p.m.
