HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/19/1989453 City Council Minutes Monday, June 19, 1989 - 1:30 p.m. Page 2 Council expressed concern that City staff and employees be transferred to other departments or assignments when outside contractors are being used so that the productivity level is kept up. 2:50 P.M., Mayor Dunin called a recess. 3:10 P.M., City Council reconvened, all Councilmembers present. 4. 1989 -91 FINANCIAL PLAN (File #233) Bill Statler, Finance Director, gave an overview of the 1989 -91 Financial Plan and the 1989 -90 Operating Budget. Councilwoman Rappa said she thought that the Council should form a Council Budget Subcommittee in order to facilitate the proceedings. Councilman Settle and Councilwoman Pinard volunteered to act on this committee. Council directed that staff take another look at the Capital Improvement Plan and reduce the amount and /or defer the phasing, and return to them with an amended plan. At 4:30 p.m., there being no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Dunin adjourned the meeting.
