I am writing to you to express my strong support for the Los Osos Valley Road Bike Path project. I am a
resident of the neighborhood just west of Laguna Middle School. My two small girls and I (ages 8 and 5) like
to ride our bikes as many places as we can safely. This path would allow us to ride from home anywhere in the
city much more safely. As it is now, we are forced to enter onto LOVR and then make a very dangerous left
turn on either Oceanaire or Madonna Rd. We have numerous families with small, active children in our
neighborhood (I can think of nine off the top of my head) who would greatly benefit from this path as well.
Please support bicycles as an alternative to automobiles in our community and approve this plan.
Respectfully,
Tom
