Dear Councilmember Marx,
AB 1648, the political advertising disclosure bill, would allow voters to know who is paying for political ads.
I like that idea!
Over $235 million was spent on California ballot measures in 2010 alone, almost all of it by special
interests hiding behind innocuous - sounding names to fool the voters about who really paid for their ads
I know that I can count on you to support this landmark legislation and help make it happen.
