Subject: Please vote to endorse AB 1648, the CA DISCLOSE Act
Dear Councilmember Marx,
It's time for genuine reform in the way we disclose political advertising. It's time for A.B. 1648.
Real efforts to reform California's government must include full disclosure of political advertising in a way
that makes sure voters clearly understand who is paying for the ads.
Voters will have more confidence in the legislature if it takes action real disclosure. What will they think
any legislators who votes against it?
I only wish that we had real disclosure like this a long time ago. Our state would be in much better shape.
Please help us fix our state by getting it passed.
