City Council members,
I am writing in support of the purchase of the Goldtree Vineyard Tract, the sale of which is slated for
approval on the June 5th city council meeting agenda. This 89 acres would be a valuable addition to our
open space, ensuring that the precious land surrounding our city be preserved for future generations. This
is good use of our Measure Y sales tax and rectifies the Twisselman /Filipponi families' conundrum as to the
purpose and use of this property. My understanding is that this purchase is a bargain, and I am hopeful
that our city will choose to make the right choice and purchase it.
Thanks as always for responding to our concerns,
Deborah Cleere
