We understand that this will be on the agenda for Tuesday evening. What we love about San Luis Obispo is the open space and the view of the hills. This is paradise, but it is because we can see it. Los Angeles used to be paradise when my parents were young in the early 1940s, but it is now one huge sprawling city, with wide freeways and tracts of houses on all the hills. We thank past City Councils of San Luis Obispo for the vision and foresight to set aside open space. Please continue with this effort! We hear that the land is available to the city at a good price, and we hope that you will take advantage of this offer and purchase the land as open space for all of us and for those who come after us, so that we and the generations to come can enjoy the beauty of this place. Even with the buildings, roads, wires, and all the things that separate us from truly enjoying the reality that we ourselves are part of nature, we remember that we are when we see the band of open space that lets us feel the breeze, watch the grasses dance, breathe deeply, and relax. Thank you sincerely, Adrienne and Robert Dickinson hard eogj: email: a COUNCIL a CDD DIR a CITY MGR oFITDIR V ASST CM a FIRE CHIEF n ATTORNEY a PW DIR a CLERKIORIG a POLICE CHIEF o VIR a PARKS & REC DIR o 'TRIBUNE a UTILDIR Li NEW TIMES a HR DIR a sL0 CITY NEWS a COUNCIL a CITY MGR a CLERK
