It seems that San Luis Obispo is exploding with new building and remodels. It should be the priority of the City to notice all adjacent and semi- adjacent owners and occupiers of impending change. Further, I would suggest that the Mayor and Council members be informed of building permit requests at the first level. It seems absurd that as it stands a Council member might only be informed of building permits if someone files an appeal. Council members were elected to preserve and protect the sense of place here in San Luis Obispo.
