SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO THE BICYCLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (BAC)
RECOMMENDATION
In accordance with the recommendations of the Council Subcommittee, appoint Randol White to
the Bicycle Advisory Committee, for a term to expire on March 31, 2016.
DISCUSSION
Bicycle Advisory Body Committee (Subcommittee Members Rivoire and Christianson)
Due to the resignation of Arlene Winn, effective July 16, 2015, there was an unscheduled
vacancy on the Bicycle Advisory Committee. Ms. Winn’s term would have expired on March
31, 2016.
The Council Liaison Subcommittee recommends appointment of Randol White to the Bicycle
Advisory Committee, effective September 1, 2015, to a term expiring on March 31, 2016. Mr.
White currently sits on the Mass Transportation Committee (MTC) as the Business
Representative with a term through March 31, 2016. Mr. White has filed his letter of resignation
to the MTC pending appointment to the BAC. If Council confirms this appointment a business
representative and alternate representative will be vacant on the MTC.
AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW IN THE COUNCIL OFFICE
Hard copies of the BAC application have been provided to the City Council and are avail able for
public review in the City Clerk’s office.
