AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO EXTENDING THE
TERM OF A FRANCHISE PREVIOUSLY GRANTED
TO UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo, in the County of
San Luis Obispo, State of California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF FRANCHISE: That Franchise previously granted to
Union Oil Company of California for the operation and maintenance of a pipeline
and related services is hereby extended six (6) months and shall expire on
April 21, 1985.
SECTION 2. TERMS & CONDITIONS: All other terms and conditions of the prior
franchise shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance, together with the ayes and noes,
shall be published once in full, at least three (3) days prior to its final passage,
in the Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said city, and the
same shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its said final
passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED -TO -PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo
at a meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of October , 1984, on
motion of Councilman Settle seconded by Councilman Griffin and on
the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Settle, Griffin, Dovey, Dunin and Mayor Billig
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
