HomeMy WebLinkAbout0104NORDINANCE No . 104 (New Series) AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR (1924- 1925) UPON ALL TAXABLE PROPARTY WITHIN THE CITY OF SAS LUIS OBISPO AND FIXING THE RATE OF SUCH TAX. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo ae follows: SECTION 1. There is hereby levied upon all taxable real and personal property -.vithin the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, a tax for the fiscal year of said City beginning on the 1st. day of July, 1924, and now current, of 1..42 on each one hundred dollars, in value of said property for the purposes herein specified and apportioned among the funds in the City Treasury as follows: (a) For the General Fund there is levied a tax of on each one hundred dollars in value of said property; , (b) For the Sewer Improvement Bond Fund of 1899, there: is levied a tax of 0.032 on each one hundred dollars in value of said property, to be u,,-,,,d in paying the accruing, interest and maturing bands of said issue. (c) For the "Water Bond Tax and Redemption Account" there is levied a tax of $ 0.072 on each one hundred dollars in value of said property, to be used in -oaying the accruing interest and principal to be paid of a certain municipal indebtedness of said City evidenced by its bonds issued and dated the first day of December, 1893; (d) For the Improvement Bond Fund of 1909 there is levied a tax of 0.202 on each one hundred dollars in value of said property, to be used in paying the accruing interest and the maturing bonds of the issue made and dated July 1, 1909; (e) For the Sewer Extension Bond Fund of 1917 there is levied a tax of X0.016 on each one hundred dollars in value of said property, to be used in paying the accruing interest and maturing bonds of said issue evidenced by the bands of said City dated `June lst., 1917; /D el (f) For the City Farm Bond Fund there is levied a tax of 0.027 on each one hundred dollars in value of said property, to be used in paying the accruing interest and maturing bonds of said issue evidenced by the bonds of said City dated April 1, 197 -8; (g) For the Improvement Bond Fund of 1922 there: is levied a tax of 0.101 or, each one hundred dollars in value of said property to be used in paying the accruing interest and maturing bonds of said issue evidenced by the bonds of s5id City dated July lst., 1922; (h) For the Library Fund there is levied a tax of $__2.12 on each one hundred dollars in value of said property. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinanoes in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish this ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, for five days before its final passage, in the Yorning Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in the said City of San Luis Obispo, and the same shall take effect from and after its final pasuage.
