AN ORDINANCE CALLING AN ELE`, TION, CO.JSOLIDATED
WI TH THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELEC ZION AND SUBMITTING
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS
OBISPO THE PROPOSITION QF'-_I XCUR_RING A DLBT AND
BONDIi4;3 SAID C`IT'Y. ' f
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo
as follows:
Section 1: A special election is hereby called, and
the proposition of incurring a debt of said city in the amount
and for the purposes hereinafter set forth is submitted, and at
said election will be submitted to the qualified voters of said city.
Section 2. The object for which said indebtedness is
proposed to be incurred and the estimated coat of the proposed
improvements are as follows :
SE0,1ER IMPROVEMENTS: The extension of the present
sewer system of said city by the construction of new severs upon
the following streets and places:
Montalban Street from Santa Rosa Street to Stenner Greek.
Olive Street from Santa Rosa Street to Osos Street.
Palm Street from Osos Street to I,Iorro Street.
Buchon Street from Morro Street to Chorro Street.
Kurray Avenue from Santa Rosa Street to Stenner Street.
Third Street from Hathway Avenue to Kentucky Street.
Kentucky Street from First Street to Third Street.
Grove Street from Monterey Street to Higuera Street.
.Agnes Street from Johnson Street easterly 500 feet.
Higuera Street from Grove Street easterly 150 feet.
Woodbridge Street from Broad Street to Lawton Avenue.
Lawton Avenue from 17oo3bridge Street to Funston Avenue.
Layton Avenue from South Street to Funston Avenue.
South Street from Story Street to Lawton Avenue.
Funston Avenue from Lawton Avenue to Broad Street.
French Street from Higuera Street westerly 500 feet.
Francis Street from Victoria Street to the Southern Pacific
Company right of way.
Ida Street from Palm Street to Mill Street.
Ida Street from Higuera Street to Monterey Street.
Toro Street from Mill Street to Palm Street.
Osos Street from Olive Street to Fig Street.
Osos Street from Fig Street to Sycamore Street..
Chorro Street from Fig Street to Sycamore Street.
North Broad Street from Palm Street to Mill Street.
North Broad Street from Stenner Creek northerly 700 feet.
Broad Street from Monterey Street to Higuera Street.

Walker Street from Pismo Street to High Street.
Victoria Street from Alexander Street to Christian Street.
Victoria Street from Francis Street southerly 150 feet.
Break Street from Johnson Street to Fairview Street.
Fairview Street from wreck Street to the Southern Pacific
Company right of way.
Along the Southern Pacific Company right of way from
Fairview Street to Munoz Street.
Together with such manholes, flush tanks and appurtenances
as may be necessary.
The estimated cost of the sewer improvements herein
set forth is Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($ 18,000.00 r
Section 3. That the amount of the principal of the
indebtedness to be incurred is Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($ 18,000.00)
and the rate of interest to be paid on said indebtedness is five
per cent per annum, payable semi— annually.

Section 4. The manner of holding said election shall be
(1) As provided for in this Ordinance.
(2) As provided by law for holding elections of the
kind herein called in said City.
The voting for and against said indebtedness shall be
as follows: Tickets must be of the ordinary election ticket paper.
The heading of such tickets must be "General Municipal Election
and Consolidated Bond Election, City of San Luis. Obispo ". Said
proposition shall be voted upon separately and must be printed on
such ticket substantially ae follows:

Said words "Yes." and "T1o" shall be opposite said
proposition on separate lines, and opposite said words "Yes" and
"No" there shall be a voting square one -half inch in dimensions.
Each voter shall indicate his wish to vote in favor of
such proposition by stamping or causing to be stamped a cross (X)*
in the voting square opposite the word "Yes ", and shall indicate
his wish to vote against said proposition by stamping or causing
to be stamped a cross (X) in the voting square opposite the word
"UoT'.
The following shall be printed on the top of the
face of the ticket:
" INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTERS;
To vote: in favor of sewer bonds stamp a cross (X) in
the voting square opposite the word "Yes ".
To vote against sewer bonds stamp a cross (X) in the
voting square opposite the word "No ".

it to the insaector of election, and obtain anotherrT.
Section 4. Said election is hereby called for and shall
be held on the 6th. day of April, 1925, in said City, and shall be
consolidated with the general municipal election to be held on slid
day, notice of which special election is hereby given.
Section 5. The precincts, polling places and officers
of the election hereby called shall be the same as those set forth
in the Election Proclamation calling the general municipal election
with which the election hereby called is consolidated.
Section 6. This ordinance, together with the ayes and
noes shall be published for two days before i to final passage in
the Morning Tribune, a dally newspaper printed, published and
circulated in the City of San Luis Obispo, and shall thereafter be
published once a day for at least seven (7) days in said Morning
Tribune, before said election.
