HomeMy WebLinkAbout1123ORDINANCE NO. 1123(1988 Series) ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AMENDING SECTION 10.48.030 OF THE SAN LUIS OBISPO MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROHIBIT, EXCEPT BY PERMIT, THE OPERATION OF ANIMAL DRAWN AND NON -MOTOR DRIVEN VEHICLES WITHIN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. Section 1. Section Number 10.48.030 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code is amended to read as set out in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated by this reference. Section 2. This amendment, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published once in full at least three (3) days prior to its final passage, in the Telegram - Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go into effect thirty (30) days after its passage. No person shall drive any animal -drawn vehicle into or within the central businessfr- af�:€i -c- district, between- thee- het+r -s e# -tri ►e -a:m: -arm- s3 x -� :m:- e- atn+ -���+� and no person shall operate any non -motor driven vehicles, cart, cab, or other device for hire within the central business district, except by special permit of the Chief of Police. B. The Chief :of Police shall establish, and make available upon request, administrative procedures and standards for permit processing and approval. C. A non - refundable fee, as established by Council resolution, may be required with each permit application to defray administrative costs for processing and inspection.
