AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX FOR THE CURRENT
FISCAL YEAR x].930- 19.3.1). UPON ALL TAXABLE
PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO,
AND FIXING THE RATE OF SUCH TAX..
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo,
as follows:
Section_1. There is hereby levied upon all-taxable real and
personal property within the City of San Luis Obispo,. County of San
Luis Obispo,, State of California,, a tax for the fiscal year of said
City beginning on the lst day of July,, 1930, and now current, of
0 1.60 on each one hundred dollars in value of said property,, for
the purposes herein specified and apportioned among the funds in the
City Treasury as follows :.
(a) For the General Fund there is levied a tax of $ .85
on each one hundred dollars in value of said property;.
(b) For the Sewer Improvement Bond Fund of 1899, there is
levied a tax of .023 , on each one hundred dollars in value of
said property, to be used in paying the accruing interest. and maturing
bonds of said issue;
(c) For the "-Water Bond Tax and Redemption Account" there is
levied a tax of $ .05 on each one hundred dollars in value of
said property,. to be used in paying the accruing interest and principal
to be paid of a certain municipal indebtedness of said City evidenced
by its bonds issued and dated the first day of December, 1899;
(d) For the Improvement Bond Fund of 1909 there is levied a
tax of $ .143 on each one hundred dollars in value of said
property, to be used in paying the accruing interest and the maturing
bonds of the issue made and dated July 1., 1909;,

(e) For the Sewer Extension Bond Fund of 1.91.7 there is levied
.011 on each one hundred dollars in value of said
property, to be used in paying the accruing interest and maturing bonds
of said issue evidenced by the bonds of said City dated June 1st., 1.91.7;;
(f) For the City Farm Bond Fund there is levied a tax of
.022 on each one hundred dollars in value of said property, to,

of said issue evidenced by the bonds of said City dated October 1st,
1927;
(j)' For the Miller and Lux Laguna Property Bond Fund of 1927
there is levied a tax of .03.6 on each one hundred dollars in
value of said property to be used in paying the accruing interest and
maturing bonds of said issue evidenced by the bonds of said City dated
October 1st, 1927;
(k.)` For the Sewer Extension Bond Fund of 1929 there is levied
a tax of $ .037 on each one hundred dollara in value of said
property, to be used in paying the accruing interest and maturing bonds
of said issue evidenced by the bonds of said City, dated July 1st 19291
(1) For the Bridge and Culvert Bond Fund of 1.929 there is
levied a tax of $ .025 on each one hundred dollars in value of
said property, to be used.in paying the accruing interest and maturing
bonds of said issue evidenced by the bonds of said City, dated July
1st 1929;_
(m) For the Library Fund there is levied -a tax of $ .1.2a
on each one hundred dollars: in value of said property;
(n) For the Improvement Fund of said City there is levied a
tax of $, .14 on. each one hundred dollars in value of said
property.
(o) For the Street Assessment Redemption Fund there is
levied a tax of $ .009 on each one hundred dollars in value of
said property.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish. this.
ordinance, together with the ayes and noes., for• five. days. bef ore it.s.
final passage, in the Daily Telegram, a daily newspaper printed,
published and circulated in said City of San Luis. Obispo, and the
same shall take effect from and after its, final passage.
