HomeMy WebLinkAbout0160NoRniid qa No. 160 Series) rid ORDINANCE A.l'PROVIYv ; THE AMEXATION 010 CERTALN UNI'_T ITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "INDUSTRIAL ANSMATION" TO THE CITY Or SAW LUIS OBISPO HE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Sari Luis Obispo as follows: WIMIREAS, on the 15th day of pebrusary, 1960, the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo did pass and adopt Resolution too. 633 (1960 Series) giving; notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of San Luis Obispo, said territory being therein designated as "Industrial Annexation," said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory pro- posed to be annexed; and WhEREAS, said Resolution Ito. 633 dial contain a notice of the day,, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests wade by any person cmyning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than forty nor more than sixty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and WHEREAS, on the 4th day of April, 1960, at the hour of 8 p.m,, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution too, 633 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests evade to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shoum by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and WHRREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of San Luis Obispo, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Luis Obispo; NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of San Luis Obispo does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of San Luis Obispo, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of San Luis Obispo, s That said territory, the ranneration of which to the City of San Luis Obispo is herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County of Sam Luis Obispo, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Sally corner of the intersection of the S. P. R. R. VW with Country Road Rio. 34 (Oscut:t Road) ; thence S 89 - 34 V, a distance of 776.82 feet along the Sly lime of said road to the lily line of Lot 117 of the Suburban `Tact according to the map of the Suburban Tract recorded February 7, 1906, in Book 1, at page 92 of Records of Surveys; thence Sly along the Idly litre of Lot 117 to the Ely liras► of the F. C. R. R. RIW; thence Sly along the Ely line of the P. C. R. R. R/W to the Mly line of Lot 114 of tha. Subabaa Tract.; thence on a prolongation of the hnaily line of Late 1142 S 54 - 20 W, ao the Wly line of the P. C. R. R.
