WEEREAS, by Resolution. No, 652 (1960 Series) , the City Coumcil of the City
of San Luis Obispo declared its intention to call a spacial election in certain:
inhabited territory contiguous to said city proposed to be annexed to the city,
for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said ter-
ritory the question whether or not the territory shall be annexed to the city;
and

Obispo as follows:
I. A special election is hereby called to be held on the __18th day of

shallp after such annexation, be subject to taxation, equally with the property
within the My of San Luis Obispo, to pay the entire bonded indebtedness of
the City of San Luis Obispo outstanding or authorized at the date of the

Said territory is located in the Couiaty of Saga Luis Obi.spoa State of
California, and is.described as follows:
Beginning at the :intersection of the center lines of Broad
Street and Dfstsuhito Avenue, said center lines are also the City
Limits line. Thence North 32° 29' Nest along the center line of
Broad Street, 1401 more or less to a point where the City Limits
line leaves the center line of Broad Street; thence along said
City Limits line, South 89° 433 West, 1051' more or Less, thence
leaving the City Limits line South 5° 531 East, 649.7' to the
hlorthwest corner of the "foams Poultry units Tract; thence along
the same course, South 5° 53' East, 1498.5 r to the Sotthwest

2, The polls at said election shall be opened at 7 o'clock a.m. of the
clay herein fixed for the holding of said election and shall be kept open.

3. Upon the ballots to be used at said election there shall be printed

Opposite these words there shah be printed the cards "Yes" and 11403 :a
and to the right of each of these last two wo dsa these shall be a. voting
sgakare. If an elector shall stamp a cross °) in the voting $quake after
the printed word "Yds" the vote of such elector shall be counted in favor of
they annexation of said territory to the City of Sans. Luis Obispo; and if an
elector shall stamp a cross ( +) in the voting square after the printed word
"Po" the vote of such elector shall be counted against such annexation.
In all particulars not herein-recited said election shall be held in
conformity, as near as may be,, with the laws of the State of California fora+ia coon-
cern.irng general. elections and with said Annexation Act of 1913.
4. (a) For the purpose of said election there hereby is established in
the territlory described herein one (1) voting precinct, which shall include
all of said territory. The following is the polling place of said election
precinct and the following named persons hereby are named officers of election,
and shall constitute the board of election for such election precinct;:
Polling Place: Hoover Residence, 3051 Rockview place
San Luis Obispo County, California
Inspector: Laura Hoover
Judges- Mary henry and Maur Hayes
(b) For their services in connection with said election, said in-
spector shall receive $1.5.00 and said judges $12.50 each; and the persona in
possession of the polling place named herein shall receive for the use of
such premises is connection with said election the sum of $10.00.
S. The City Clerk shall publish ra notice of said special election as
required by the Annexation Act of 1913, at least once a week for the four (4)
weeka prier to the date of the election on ,dune 25x 1960, in the Marro Bay
Sun, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published outside of the
City of San Luis Obispo but in the County of San Luis Obispo, California,
6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its publication.
7. This ordinance shall be publ.isbed in the Telegram-Tribune, a news-
