AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 76 (New Series)
BY ADDING TWO NEW SECTIONS TO BE NUMBERED 892,
RELATING TO THE BUSINESS OF LAUNDRIES AND DRY CLEANING,
AND 952, RELATING TO THE BUSINESS OF BAKERIES.
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo, as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 76 (New Series) entitled, "An
Ordinance Licensing and Regulating the Doing of Certain Acts and the
Carrying on of Certain Trades, Callings, Business, Professions and
Occupations Within the Corporate Limits of the City of San Luis Obispo,
Calif ornia, and Prescribing Penalties for the Violation Thereoftl, be
a mended-by adding two new sections, to be numbered as follows:
Section 892. Every person, firm or corporation conducting or
carrying on the business of Steam Laundry, Towel and /or Linen Supply,
Clothes Cleaning, Dry Cleaning or Dyeing, where the plant for the
actual work of laundering, cleaning or dyeing is maintained outside
of the City of San Luis Obispo, but doing business within said City
by soliciting and receiving clothes to be laundered, cleaned and /or
dyed, or by supplying linens, towels, aprons, coats or similar articles,
shall pay a license fee of Two Hundred Dollars
per year, payable in advance. No license will be issued under this
section for a term of less than one year from the first day of the
current quarter during which said license is issued.
Section 952. Every person, firm or corporation conducting or
carrying on the business of selling or distributing bakery products
within the City of San Luis Obispo, where the plant for the actual
manufacture of said products is maintained outside of the limits of
said City, shall pay a license fee of
One Hundred
Dollars per year, payable in advance. No license will be issued under
this section for a term of less than one year from the first day of
the current quarter during which said license is issued.

Section 2. This ordinance, together with the Ayes and Noes,
shall be published for two days before its final adoption in the Daily
Telegram, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said
City of San Luis Obispo.
