AN ORDUUNCR REZONING A PORTION OF TRACT 166
AND THE YOUNG- HIELSEN ADDITION
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Catty of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That those certain parcels of property shown on the attached
"Exhibit A!' as parcels 1 and 2, which is incorporated by reference. shall be and
are hereby rezoned from a t1W to an 19R -1" land use district.
SECTION 2. That the Zoning Map set forth in Section 9200.5 of the San Luis
Obispo Municipal Cade shall be amended to indicate the change in zoning,.
SECTION 3. This ordinance, together with the ayea and noes, shall be pub-
fished once in fulls at Beast three days before its final passage, in the Telegram-
Tribune, a newspapers published and circulated in said City, and the same shall, go
into effect at the expiration of 30 days after Its final passage.

SUBJECT: Rezoning of portions of Tract 166 and Young - Nielsen Addition,
Attached for your information are Planning Commission Resolutions No,
179-62 and 180 -62. These concern small portions of property that was
annexed to the City of San Luis Obispo as a result of development im-
mediately adjacent to them within the then City limits, In each case
the property is presently occupied by single family residential dwellings,

RESOLUTION NO, 179 -62
RECOPk%iENDING A CHANGE IN THE LAND USE
DISTRICT ON CERTAIN PROPERTY IN SECTION
36, T30S, R12E, MDM. (NIELSENwXOUNG ADD.)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Luis Obispo
has considered the.existing land use zone of certain property described be-
low and the location, character and suitability for certain land uses of
said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has held two (2) public
h?arings. thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of
the City of San Luis Obispo finds that the public interest and general wel-
fare require a change in the land use district as follows:
That certain lands lying within the Northeast 1/'4 of the Southeast
1/4 of Section 36, Township 30 South, Range 12 East, MM, presently
zoned ° °U." Unclassified Land Use District, be rezoned to "R-I,"
Single Family Residential District, and in accordance with the map,
entitled Exhibit A, attached.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission recommends that
the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo, hold the necessary public
hearing and approve the land use district change as contained herein.

RESOLUTION NO, 180 -62
RECOMENDING A CHANGE IN THE LAND USE
DISTRICT ON CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING WITH- -
.IN ROYAL HEIGHTS, TRACT NO, 166.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Luis Obispo
has considered the existing land use zone of certain property described be-
low and the location, character and suitability for certain land uses of
said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has held two (2) public
hearings thereon;
NOW, T1iEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of
the City of San Luis Obispo finds that the public interest and general wel-
fare require a change in the land use district as follows:
That all lands described within Ordinance No. 173, passed and
adopted on November 21, 1960, annexing certain lands to the City
of San Luis Obispo, said annexation generally described as a
portion of Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11, Block A of Tract 166, pres-
ently zoned `°U." Unclassified Land Use District, be rezoned to
B1R -1," Single Family Residential Land Use District, and in accord-
ance with the attached map entitled Exhibit A.
NOW, MiEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
recommends that the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo, hold the
necessary public hearing and approve the land use distract change as gat-
lined herein.
