AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 4.3 OF ORDINANCE
122 (NEWT SERIES), ENTITLED: "AN :ORDINANCE
REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON AND THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF SAN
LUIS OBISP4."
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1.. Section 4.3 of Ordinance.No. 122'(New Series),
the title of.which is s.et forth in the title of this ordinance, is
hereby amended to-read as: follows:
Section 4_. 3.0 TEN- MINUTE PARKING.. " It shall be unlawful
for any person to park any vehicle for a greater . length of time
than.• ten minutes on any of the streets or parts of streets ,estab-
lisped by Resolution of the Council of the City of San .Luis Obispo
as TEN. MINUTE PARKING 2,ONES between the hours of 9 :00- o'clock
and 6:00` o! clock p.m. of any day, except. Sunday and holidays; pro -
vided, however, that in any TEN MINUTE PARRI -NG. ZONE established in
front of the United States Post Office no vehicle shall be parked
or longer than ten minutes at any time.
TheL Chief of Police shall cause the provisions of this
Section to.be;_designated by placing and maintaining appropriate
signs recting that -the parking of vehicles_ is prohibited, or by
placing `and °maintaining -green -paint or other green material upon
the entire curb surface within such zones..
SECTION ']. All, ordinances or parts of ordinances in
} conflict.' with, this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 8. L L This ordinance, together with the Ayes and
Noes,: shall be 1. published for two days before its final: passage in
the-Telegram- Tribune, =a:.daily newspaper printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thL same shall take effect: and be"' in
force thirty days after, its final passage.'
