SIJ13JE-CT: Rezoning, Santa Rosa F, Walnut
Resolution No. 148 -65 of the Planninn Commission recommends that the Council
approve the rezoning of the property at the corner of Santa Rosa and Walnut
from R -3 and R -4 to R -C.
The application was for a rezoning to C -1 -S to permit the construction of a
service station on the site presently occupied by the Nazarene Church. There
were no objections to this application and the Planning, Commission .felt that
a service station would be an appropriate use. They did feel, however, that
some C -1 uses would be undesirable and therefore recommend that the property
be rezoned R -C, which would be more restrictive while still allowing a service
station.
The Commission further recommends that prior to consummation of the rezoning,
a widening agreement for Santa Rosa Street be entered into.
