AN ORDINANCE REZONING A PORTION OF SECTION 36 T3OS,
R12E, MDM FROM R -1 TO RHS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That that certain parcel of land in the City of San Luis
Obispo, located in Section 36, T30S, R12E, MDM, shall be and is hereby rezoned
from "R -1" Land Use District to "R -HS" Land Use District, in accordance with the
map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of San Luis Obispo,
as set forth in Section 9200:5 of the San Luis Obispo Municipal Code, shall be
modified to reflect said zoning change.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be
published once in full, at least three days before its final passage, in the
Telegram- Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same
shall go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its said final passage.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City Council of the City of
San Luis Obispo will hold a public hearing on the recommendation of the
Planning Commission to rezone from R -1 (single family residential) to
RHS (residential high density) a portion of Section 36 T30S, R12E, MDM.
See sketch below.
SAID PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 9:30 P.M. Monday, December 6,
1965 at the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis
Obispo, California.

SUBJECT: Rezoning rear of 2841 ,Johnson Ave,
Resolution No. 147 -65 of the Planning Commission recommends approval of th e
rezoning of this property from R -1 to R -11 -S,
'hr. Zenglein applied for a rezoning, to R -H to enable him to develop apartments
in conjunction with adjoining property he owns on Augusta St. There were no
objections at the public hearing. The Commission felt that approval might
encourage similar applications on adjoining Properties and that these should
not have direct access to Johnson Avenue in order to avoid added traffic
congestion. They therefore recommend approval of this application with the
"S" designation added to ensure that vehicular access be from Augusta Street
only.
