AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING AS C -2 COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT (General) THAT CERTAIN AREA OF LAND
LOCATED ADJACENT TO WHERE THE NEW STATE HIGH -
WAY MEETS JUNCTION OF HIGUERA AND MARSH STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED By the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to proceedings in such behalf here-
tofore duly and regularly had, and the report of the City Planning
Commission presented to the City Council at its meeting of January 2,
1951, the hereinafter described parcel of real property located in
the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of
California, shall be and the same is hereby reclassified as 0-2
Commercial District (General):
That certain parcel of property bounded on the Westerly
side by the proposed State Freeway, on the Southwesterly
side by the new State Highway coming into the junction
of Marsh and Higuera Streets, on the Northeasterly side
by Stenner'Creek, and on the Easterly side by San Luis
Creek, except those two portions located in the South-
easterly part of said tract which are already zoned
0-2 and M -1.
SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the Ayes and
Noes, shall be published for two days before its final passage
in the Telegram -- Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, published
and circulated in said City, and the same shall take effect and
be in force thirty days after its final passage.
