AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 122 (NEW SERIES),
ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON AND
THE-PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO" BY ADDING SECTION 4.7.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 122.(New Series), the title of
which is set forth in the title of this ordinance, is hereby
amended by adding Section 4.7, which said section shall read as
follows :
SECTION 4.7. PASSENGER LOADING. It shall be unlawful for
any person to park any vehicle for a greater length of time than
is necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers and hand
luggage during the day or night on any of the streets or parts of
streets established by Resolution of the Council of the City of
San Luis Obispo as PASSENGER LOADING ZONES.
The Chief of Police shall cause the provisions of this section
to be designated by placing and maintaining appropriate signs

directing that the parking of vehicles^is prohibited, or by plac-
ing and maintaining white paint or other white material upon the
entire curb surface within such zones.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance, together with the Ayes and Noes,
shall be published for two days before its ,final passage in the
Telegram- Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, published and circu-
lated in said City, and the same shall take effect and be in force
thirty days after its final passage.
