VERSION, OCCUPANCY, E2UIP1i %.GiVTj USE, HEIGHT, AREA -AND
MAINTENANCE OF BUILDING OR STRUCTURES IN TI-M CITY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO: PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BUILD-
ING PER14ITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES THEREFOR; PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; AND REPEALING -
ORDINANCE NO. 186 and ORDINANCE NO. 233 (New Series)
OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO. rr
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
'Obispo, as follows:
SECTION I. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 272 (New Series),
the title of which is set forth in the title of this ordinance,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2. That a certain document, three (3) copies of
which are on file in the office of the Citv Clerk of the City
of San Luis Obispo, being marked and designated as "Uniform
Building Code, 1952 Edition ", and which said copies may be
identified by the Seal of the City of San Luis Obispo appear-
ing thereon, be, and the same is hereby adopted as the build-
ing code of the City of San Luis Obispo for regulating the
erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair,
moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment,
use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings and /or
structures in the-City of San Luis Obispo; providing for
issuance of building permits and collection of fees therefor;
and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties,
conditions and terms of said "Uniform Building Code, 1949,
Edition ", are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part
hereof as if fully set out in this ordinance; except such
provisions as are modified in Ordinance No. 272 (New Series).
SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the Ayes and Noes,

shall be published for two days before its final passage
in the Telegram- Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, pub-
lished and circulated in said City, and the same shall
take effect ,"and'be in force thirty days after its final pass-
age.
