HomeMy WebLinkAbout0383NORDINANCE NO. 3$3 (New Series) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 65q OF ORDINANCE NO. 76 (New Series), ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE LICENSING AND REGULATING THE DOING OF CERTAIN ACTS AND THE CARRYING ON OF CERTAIN TRADES, CALLINGS, BUSINESS, PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA, .AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF." BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows SECTION 1. Section 6521 of Ordinance No. 76 (New, Series), the title of which is set forth in the title of this ordinance, is amended to read as follows: Section 652: Unless otherwise provided herein, every person, firm or corporation, engaged in the business of transporting or distributing or soliciting or selling goods, wares and merchandise, either at wholesale or retail from a vehicle, in ..the City of San Luis Obispo, and not having a fixed place of business in said City, shall pay a license tax of $75.00 per year; said license tax to be paid in advance and in fully annually. Said license tax of $75.00 to be per vehicle. No person or persons shall be required to procure a license or pay a license fee for peddling any of his or their own agricultural, pastoral or dairy products raised by himself or themselves in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California. Section 2. This ordinance.,-together with the Ayes and Noes, shall be published for two days before its final passage in the Telegram- Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty days after its final passage. -1- INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT this 6 day of July, 1953, by the following vote: AYES: Nels Beck Kenneth W Jones, Fred H Lucksinger NOES: ABSENT: Paul W.
