HomeMy WebLinkAbout0392NJ 1 1 � ISJ ORDINANCE NO. 392 (NEW SERIES) AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING AS C -1 CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to proceedings in such behalf heretofore duly and regularly had, and the report of the City Planning Commission presented to the City Council at its meeting of October 20, 1912, the hereinafter described real property located in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, shall be and the same is hereby reclassified as follows: From R -1 Residence District (one family) to C -1 (local) Business District the following described property: That portion of the Northeast Quatter of Sec. 34, Township 30 ;youth, Range 12 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian: in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to the official plat or plats of the Survey of said lands, returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, described as follows: Commencing at a stake marked ffG.L.No. 111 (said stave bears North loo East distant 9.32 chains from Corner No. 14 of San Luis Obispo town Lands) and running thence North 500 West 14.18 chains to a stake in mound of stone marked G.L. No. 211; thence at right angles North 400 East 7.10 chains to post in moue$ of stone marked ffG.L. No. aft; thence South 50 East 13.32 chains to post in mound of stone marked ftG.L. No. Ott; thence South 30 3/40 West 5.85 chains to a stake marked ffG.L. No.5ft; thence South 40 West 1.85 chains to point of beginning. Excepting therefrom all that portion lying east of the west line of 101 Highway Right of Way. SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the Ayes and Noes, shall be published for two days before its final passage in the Telegram- Tribune, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty days after its final passage. -1- INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT THIS 21 day of December, 1953, by the following vote: AYES: Paul. Honorable Sirs: I would like to apply for a change of zoning from Zone R 1 to Zone C-1 on the property covered by the plat attached to this letter, further reference being made to the applicat- ion included herewith. In making the application, I wish to state that I will sell the land with restrictions limiting its use to the use as a Hotel or Motel with the usual attanding facilities such as dining room and inside cocktail bar. The property is not to be used or permitted for any other commercial use. A cocktail bar as such would be prohibited and could only be installed _ if used inside as in the Hotel Anderson or Santa Maria Inn.
