ORDINANCE NO. 400

AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14 BROAD STREET ON
THE EAST SIDE OF BROAD STREET BETWEEN FOOTHILL BLVD. AND
MEINECKE AVE. FROM R -3 to C -N DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That certain parcel of real property in the City of San Luis
Obispo located at 14 Broad Street, more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of
Section 27 in Township 30 South, Range 12 East, Mount Diablo Meridian
in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of
California, according to the official plat of the survey of said
land on file in the Bureau of Land Management described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of North Broad Street, said
point also being the Southwest corner of the property described in
the deed to Edwin A. Brown and Vernice M. Brown, husband and wife,
as joint tenants, recorded November 10, 1949, in Book 540, at page
S71 of Official Records; thence running North 88° 51' 30" East
162.84 feet to a point in the West line of Mount Pleasanton Square
No. 2; thence running along said West line South 10 12' East 63.67
feet; thence leaving said West line South 880 48' West 68 feet to
a point in the East line of the land described in the deed to Norman
I. Schuldt and Marie Irene Schuldt, husband and wife, as joint
tenants, recorded May 7, 1954, in Book 755, at page 582 of Official
Records; thence running along said East line North 10 12' West 2.5
feet to the northeast corner of the land described in the afore-
mentioned deed; thence South 880 13' West along the North line of
the property described in the aforementioned deed, 94.76 feet to
the Northwest corner thereof and the East line of North Broad St.;
thence running along said East line of North Broad Street North 10
17' West 62.29 feet to the point of beginning.
shal.l-be and is hereby rezoned from R -3 (Restricted Multiple Family Residential) to
C -N (Neighborhood Commercial). Said property is also shown on the map attached
hereto marked Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published
once in full, at least three days prior to its final passage, in the Telegram-
Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go
into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo
at a Regular Meeting held thereof on the 18th day of December, 1967, on motion of
Councilman Spring, seconded by Councilman Gallagher, and on the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Emmons Blake, Frank Gallagher, Arthur F. Spring, Donald Q. Miller,
Clell W. Whelchel
