HomeMy WebLinkAbout0041r, W ORDINANCE NO. —Al—(1957 Series) AN ORDINANCE A.lauROVI °M THE ANNEXATIU11 OF CERTA114 UgINIJABITED TERRITORY0 DECIGNATED ft BULLOCK AMM" TO THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBI-SRO, BF IT ORDAINUT by the Council of the City of San Luis Ubi.spo as follows: s',TJ RCAS, on the 20th day of !Flay, 1957, the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo did pass and adopt Resolution flop 215 (1957 Series) giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of San Luis Obispo, said territory being therein designated as "Bullock Annex ", and said action being; taken by the Council of said City as the legislative body of the City pursuant to a written petition therefor, said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to said City; and NHEREAS, said Resolution No. 215 (1957 Series) did contain a notice of the days hour and place when and where the said Council of the City would hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than fifteen nor more than forty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and 1%THE£,:i'fAS, on the 1st day of July, 1957, at the hour of 8000 o :elock p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Sara Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 215 (1957 Series) for hearing protests to said annexation, the said Council of said City did hear and pass upon all protests made to said proposed annexation have been made by the owners of one -half of the value of' the territory proposed to be annexed as shoum by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and private owners of one -half of the value of the -territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Sara Luis Obispo, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Luis ubispo; 2 d NOW TH '3EFOUE, a the said Council of the City of San Luis Obispo does hereby approve the annexation of said territory, hereinafter described, to the City of San Luis Obispo and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of San Luis Obispo. That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of San Luis Obispo is herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of.California., more particularly described as follows: Land proposed for annexation to the City of San Luis Obispo, Californian is situate in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and includes lots 119, 120, and 121 of the San Luis Obispo Suburban Tract according to map recorded February 7Q 1906, in book 1, page 92 of Record of Surveys, and a portion of the Southern Pacific Railroad right -of -way, and a portion of County Road No. 34, also known as Orcutt Road, and a portion of an undescribed 30 foot right- of..way knows as Bullock Lane.. Said land is described as a whole as follows: Beginning at the northwesterly corner of the intersection of County Road No. I4 and the Southern Pacific Railroad right - of -way, said corner being the true point of.beginning; thence South 330.30$ Fast across said County Road No. 34 47.77 feet to the southwesterly corner of said intersection; thence along same bearing 789.36 feet said line being the westerly line of said railroad right -of -way to a point; thence north 890 3$4 East across said railroad right- of-way and across an undescribed right of way known as Bullock Lane 155,25 feet to the south- westerly comer of lot 119 of San Luis Obispo Suburban Tract as shown on the map thereof recorded February 7, 1906 in book 1. page 92 of Record of.- S%rveys; thence along same bearing 788.87 .feet to the southeasterly corner of lot 121 of said San Luis Obispo Suburban Tract- "thence North Oo 224 nest along the easterly line of said lot 121 °660.0 feet to the northeasterly corner of said lot 121; thence along same bearing across said County Road No. 34 40,0 fce tip the north line of said County Road No. 34, said lane also being the °city limits line; thence South 890 38, West along the north line of said County Road No. 34, said line also being tho city limits lime 128202$ feet to the northeasterly corner of `thq intersection of said County Road No. 34 and the Southern .
