AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY AT 611 to 615 GRAND AVENUE FROM
R -1 AND R -3 TO R -H LAND USE DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That certain parcel of real property in the City of San Luis
Obispo located on the westerly side of Grand Avenue between Mill and Wilson Streets
more particularly described as follows:
Parcel 1 (from R -1 to R -H): Lots 13, 14 and 15 of Block 23 of
Phillips Addition.
Parcel 2 (from R -3 to R -H): Lot 16 and that portion of Lot 9 in
Block 23, of Phillips Addition to the City of San Luis Obispo,
in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State
of California, as per map filed in Book A, Page 162 of Maps, in
the office of the county recorder of said county, described as
a whole as follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 1S in said Block 23;
thence along the northerly line of said Lots 9 and 16, East 150.00
feet to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 16; thence along
the Easterly line of said Lot 16, South 50.00 feet to the south-
easterly corner of said Lot 16; thence along the Southerly line
of said Lots 16 and 9. West 129.85 feet to the northeasterly line
of the land described in the deed to Steven A. Peterson, recorded
Oct. 23, 1967, in Book 1453, page 173 of Official Records, in
the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence along
said northeasterly line, North 21° S7' West 53.91 feet to the
point of beginning.
shall be and is hereby rezoned from R -1 (Residential Low Density) and R -3
(Restricted Multiple Family Residential) to R -H (Residential High Density). Said
property is also shown on the map attached hereto marked Exhibit A and incorporated
herein by reference.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance, together with the ayes and noes, shall be published
once in full, at least three days prior to its final passage, in the Telegram-
Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in said City, and the same shall
go into effect at the expiration of thirty days after its said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo
at a Regular Meeting held thereof on the 16th day of April, 1968, on motion of
Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Spring, and on the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Emmons Blake, Frank Gallagher, Arthur F. Spring, Donald Q. Miller,
Clell W. Whelchel
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
